SHEA BUTTER FACE CREAM

shea butter face cream.jpg

This cream is a deep conditioner.  It’s infused with naturally antibacterial and skin-supporting properties.

This recipe is great for dry skin and an amazing remedy for those flaky patches during the cold and dry seasons.

Personally, I like to apply this cream at night.  I wake up with soft and supple skin ready for the day.

All right... let’s get to it!

Ingredients & Materials

  • 4 oz. Glass Mason Jar

  • 4 oz. of Shea Butter

Shea butter is a Deep Moisturizer and can reduce inflammation.

  • 0.5 oz. of Rosehip Seed Oil

Rosehip seed oil is a natural moisturizer.  It helps exfoliate, brighten skin tone, boost collagen formation, and reduce dark circles.  It also helps protect against sun damage and reduce scars and fine lines.  Finally, it helps reduce inflammation and support against skin ailments such as eczema and psoriasis.

  • 0.5 oz. of Jojoba Oil

Jojoba is easily absorbed by the skin.  It’s rich in Vitamin E; which helps eliminate free radicals.  It promotes a glowing complexion, supports against acne, and soothes and moisturizes dry, chapped, and irritated skin.

Essential oil I like to use is:

  • Ylang ylang essential oil

  • Geranium essential oil

  • Tea Tree essential oil

Ylang Ylang Essential Oil

Ylang-ylang supports the reduction of inflammation, stress, and anxiety.  It also promotes healthy blood circulation.

Geranium Essential Oil

Geranium supports hormones balances, cell growth, blood circulation, and against inflammation and wrinkles.  It can help relieves stress and the effects of menopause.  It is antibacterial and a natural deodorant

Tea Tree Essential Oil

Tea tree is antibacterial, antifungal, and supports the skin against inflammation.
