This hot oil is treatment is such an easy way to deep condition your hair.  It takes only minutes to prepare and it leaves your hair soft, smooth and rejuvenated. 

How to Make a Hot Oil Treatment

All right...Let's get to it!

Materials & Ingredients:

  • One Double boiler

  • 1 oz. of Almond Oil

Almond oil can relieve a dry and itchy scalp.  It can support against hair loss, frizz and gives your hair a healthy shine.

  • 1 oz. of Sesame seed oil

Sesame seed oil is a deep conditioner.  Routine use can support against premature graying.  Because sesame oil promotes blood circulation of the scalp, it can support hair growth.  This oil can also soothe various skin irritations while helping to treat dandruff.  It also nourishes the hair and its follicles.

Essential Oils:

Lavender

  • Promotes calm and relaxation

  • Its an antioxidant, antibacterial and antifungal.

  • It also supports against inflammation and can improve blood circulation.

 

 Rosemary

  • Supports blood circulation, mental clarity and is antibacterial.

  

Peppermint

  • Supports against inflammation and is antibacterial. 

Instructions:

  1. In a double boiler on med./low heat, add 1 oz. of almond oil and 1 oz. of sesame oil and heat.  Ensure you don’t bring the oils to a boil

  2. Remove the oils from heat and pour into a small bowl.

  3. Let the oils cool a little then add 4 drops of lavender, 4 drops of rosemary and 4 drops of peppermint essential oils.

  4. Once the oils have cooled to a safe deep warm, apply to your hair using your fingers, massaging in well from the scalp to the tip.

  5. You can then put your hair up or wrap it in an old towel.  Let the oils absorb into your hair for at least 30 min. then wash it as usual.

  6. Make sure you wear on old shirt due to the oils staining power.

You can always add more or less oil depending on the length or thickness of your hair.
