HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN

DEODORANT WITHOUT BEESWAX

This recipe doesn't contain the added preservatives and toxins found in many manufactured deodorants and the ingredients are simple and natural.

 

It also possesses fabulously moisturizing and detoxifying benefits. 

All right... let’s get to it!

 

Ingredients & Materials

 

  • 5 Deodorant Dispensers

  • 1 Double Boiler

  • 3.75 oz. of Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is deeply moisturizing and can soothe skin ailments such as eczema and psoriasis.  It absorbs quickly, is an antioxidant and anti-fungal.

 

  • 3.75 oz. of Shea Butter

Shea butter is a deep moisturizer and supports inflammation reduction.

 

  • 3 oz. of Baking Soda

Baking Soda is antibacterial, antifungal, and absorbs oils. 

 

  • 4 oz. of Organic Cornstarch

Cornstarch also absorbs excess oil.

 

Essential oils I like to use is:

  • Lemongrass Essential Oil

  • Lavender Essential Oil

  • Geranium Essential Oil

 

Lemongrass Essential Oil

Lemongrass is a natural cleanser & deodorizer.  It possesses antiseptic and antioxidant properties.

It supports stress reduction, blood circulation, and inflammation reduction.

 

Lavender Essential Oil

Lavender can promote calm & relaxation.  It is an antioxidant, antifungal, and is antibacterial.  It also supports Inflammatory reduction and blood circulation.

 

Geranium Essential Oil

Geranium can promotes hormones balances, mental function, and improved blood circulation.  It supports inflammation reduction and can alleviate the effects of menopause.  It’s also antibacterial and a natural deodorant.

 

Instructions

  1. Melt shea butter and coconut oil in a double boiler.

  2. Let mixture cool and stir occasionally.

  3. Then add baking soda and cornstarch and mix well.

  4. Next, add lemongrass, lavender, and geranium essential oils and stir.

  5. Allow mixture to thicken, then add to deodorant dispensers.  Make sure you stir well before you pour into the dispenser.

  6. Put in the freezer immediately for 30 min., then place in the fridge.

 

Store the deodorants in the fridge for in-between applications.

And it’s just that easy!
