Due to the build-up of styling products, shampoo, and conditioner; hair can become limp and lifeless.

Use this clarifying treatment to bring back it’s shine and body.

All right, let's get to it!

Ingredients & Materials

Baking Soda Shampoo

  • 3 Tbsp. of Water

  • 1 Tbsp. of Baking Soda

Baking Soda is a natural cleanser, eliminating oil, dirt, and the residue buildup left from hair products.  It’s abrasive properties also acts as a gentle exfoliant.  It supports the scalp against dandruff.

Instructions

  1. Add 1 Tbsp. of baking soda and 3 Tbsp. of water to a bowl and mix well.

  2. Once your hair is completely wet, apply the baking soda mixture to your hair.

  3. Ensure you coat the hair well from root to tip.

  4. Let the mixture sit from 1-2 minutes, then rinse with water.

Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse

  • 8 oz. Amber Plastic PET Spray Bottle

  • 7 oz. of Water

  • 1 oz. of Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar helps to detangle the hair and tame the frizz.  It can make your locks shine and give it body.  It also eliminates residue from hair products, supports against dandruff, and unclogs hair follicles.

Instructions

  1. Add 6 oz. of water and 1 oz. of apple cider vinegar to an 8 oz. amber plastic PET spray bottle

  2. Shake well.

  3. Spray the apple cider mixture on your hair from root to tip.

  4. Massage your scalp and rub through your hair.

  5. Let it sit for 1-2 minutes.

  6. Rinse out well with water

  7. Your hair may initially smell like vinegar, but it will disappear when your hair dries.

Ensure you experiment with the dilution of both treatments.  Dry hair will require less of apple cider vinegar and baking soda, and oily hair more.  However, it is not recommended that you exceed the above-mentioned amounts.

Baking Soda is not recommended for people suffering from Telogen Effuvium, sensitive or extremely dry scalp, or skin disorders such as, but not limited to, eczema or psoriasis.

This is not a daily treatment.  Use sparingly and only when you feel your hair has excessive residue buildup.

It’s just that easy!
